Trails Boulevard is an Archuleta County road and was on their list of future roads to be paved. This road provides connection to residential communities and access to a water filling station. 

DES provided engineering design plans for partial reconstruction and reclamation of Trails Boulevard. Within this section of roadway pull outs were provided for a mailbox station and connectivity at roadway intersections. The DES surveying team also provided construction layout to the Contractor. Layout and coordination took place to have the Contractor utilize GPS controlled equipment during construction.
